I know a lot of people sew with the machines on the table, but that just kills my back and shoulders. I bought a Gidget II adjustable table from Arrow plus a custom insert to make a flush sewing surface for my machine. I then added an Ott light because where I put the table doesn?t have good overhead lighting, and these cataracts are starting to bother me. I love this setup! No drag on the fabric, shoulders and back are relaxed, and the table folds to about 4 inches wide. I sit it behind a chair when not in use. When we travel, the machine either sits on the sofa or under the bed.
