Vectra Slide Issues

I have a 2005 Winnebago Vectra 40 AD. The passenger slide which contains the fridg, TV cabinet, and dinning buffet started to grind and metal shavings appeared on the floor. My service dealer found that the X- member frame pulled out form the mounting (crush nuts). He send pictures to Winnebago since he doesn't know how to fix it (5 months old with 4,000 mi.). Has anyone else had this type of problem?
Since the 40AD was the most popular Vectra & Horizan model, maybe this is why they discontinued it for 2006.

Sounds like a repair best done at the factory.

I would suspect that the same slide mechanism is used in multiple models in the Winnebago line.

We have friends with a 2005 Vctra who had the same X frame come apart. Sllide was welded in Seattle and has been OK  since.

Makes you wonder, huh? ???
