We made it home yesterday to florida after a long trip to glacier, yellowstone, grand tetons, mt. Rushmore, crazy horse!  Stopped in birmingham for a wedding on the way back.  We had a great time, but it is a good feeling to get home!  As Dorothy said, ?there is no place like home.?  Thank all of you who helped us with our trip plans and incidents along the way!  Great group here.

Peggyy,

Glad the excursion was so good.

NOW, sit down at the keyboard and write as full an account as you can.  Print some pictures and put them in a binder or an envelope.

Trust me on this, in a short time and a few more such excursions, this will all be a blur.  This way you can tell people what you did where.

We frequently do this to each other.  "When were we in "????".  Is that were we saw the "????".

Matt - expects to keep traveling until his memory is full.

This is so true. I took lots of photographs and kept a lot of them. Every year I would choose the best 100 and make a year album. I now have albums from 2003 till 2018. It is really valuable to be able to go back and look at all the great memories I have had.

Glad to hear you made it home, now you can get all the damage from the trip fixed and be ready to go again in a few months.

I just looked at the weather channel for your area.

Says it's 95 but feels like 113.

How in the world do you stand that?  Think I'd have stayed out west another month or two....lol

Stand it? I think the weather is fantastic. I have lived in central Florida now for almost 7 years and I have no desire to move. Just last month I took a flight to LA to the Paul McCartney concert and went from high humidity to almost no humidity. Didn't notice the difference.

We love the weather here. Always a slight breeze.  It was actually hotter in billings montana when we were there than it was here!

I plan to make a shutterfly photo book of our trip.  It helps us remember our journey!

There are a lot of people who hate the weather in Florida, and I can understand that. If you arrive here from the north country this place must feel like a pizza oven. But the 20 million people who live here obviously love it here or we would not be the second most populated state.
