Thanks to everyone for their kind thoughts and prayers. We are on our way back to Colorado. Lots of boo-boos when we left Mom but she seems to be doing ok, or as ok as you can be after losing your husband and friend of 65 years. This was not unexpected but still not easy. Why do we think our parents will live forever ? If your folks are still around, give them a call or a hug. If not, send hugs to family and frame.

Sorry to hear about your father. It's hard to loose a loved one especially a parent. I guess we expect that they will be there forever but when they are gone there is a huge void in your life and family that never refills so we have to replace the void with memories. no one can take those memories so hang unto them . Take care ....Alan
