I will take the liquid sunshine any day over this , Although Prince likes it .
4" of wet heavy stuff last night , another 5 to 6 expected Wednesday . My window in the sun room ( Did I say SUN ROOM ) is 3 feet off the ground . Gives a person an idea considering all the snow is usuley gone by now .
Oh well looking forward to the nice pictures from the warm south .
Well, out our window this morning we saw snow. No sticking, but came down pretty good for awhile. Of course, we are on our way back to Yellowstone, and they got a fresh batch the other day. We are getting conditioning.
Bill and Bill....I feel your pain, although Tom hasn't mentioned it today we have bright sunshine, 87 deg, 47% humidity and 20% chance Tom will be seeing liquid sunshine again. 8)
We've had at least four inches of new snow on the ground (not counting what might have melted) since about 6 this morning.
Added next morning: We now have about a foot on the ground here, though there seems to be little of it on the road. But I will have to plow my driveway. The first pic was taken late yesterday afternoon, just outside the back of my garage. The other two were taken this morning out the window I'm looking through now.
1st post on this one was just snow, now a major winter blizzard-can hardly see across the street. Looking at 12-15 inches by tomorrow morning. As a warning- don't plan on trips to Minnesota for awhile.
Spring birds at the feeder (hungry little critters...I've filled it x2 this week) and getting garden boxes planted with daughter. Can't wait! Only 5 weeks until great Western tour begins.
Sitting at a Corp Park on the OK--KS border overlooking the lake. Waiting for winter to end in MN, so we can go back for our Dr appt's and then get back on the road.
Looking out at the Wasatch front, higher mountains with lots of snow, lower are all green. In Ogden for 3 nights then we wil see lots of snow, close up in Yellowstone.
We are at Dakotah Meadows by the Mystic Lake Casino In Prior Lake, MN. outside Minneapolis ... and yes, those of you down south waiting to come back to green grass in Minnesota .... recommend you don't pack your bags just yet. ???
It's a little windy and we have been getting another round of snow here today after rain this morning ... we did see brown grass a few days ago. ;D
The good news is they have turned on the water at the sites, so no longer need to haul water or run the hose out from the laundry room and add another 100 feet to fill our tank (probably 200-250 feet total). 8)
