What is the length?

I wish TT were like sailboats.  A Catalina 22, is exactly that.  22 feet.  If you want a Hunter 33, guess what, it's 33' LOA.  Being a sailor for a long time, but new to "campering" It has been a tad frustrating trying to research models in finding appropriately sized trailer lengths.
 
Haven't owned a sailboat, but power boat manufacturers have continually changed their definition of LOA for years. Some years, the same manufacturer would include things like the bowsprit to make it sound longer, and other years would leave it out to make the number sound "better'. All marketing hype.

Our "other RV" is a "model 480", suggesting 48 feet in the manufacturer's lineup, it's documented with the USCG as 51'LOA, and measures 53'.
 
I bought mine used and was told it was 35' which my wife said was too big. One day I measured from pin to back and it's 37' 5" but my wife will never know that small fact.
