What TT approximately 3500 lbs?

Have you towed anything with the Sport Trac?  You might want to rent something small for a weekend to test it out.

Haven't towed anything with it yet since I don't have the Class III hitch on it yet.  As far as I'm concerne, I'm committed to towing once I get the Class III on there.  But I've been tracking other TT and Sport Trac forums to see other experiences....thus far, really good as long as you observe the weight and remember it's not a 2500 truck.

I am sure that you will find that you Sport Trac will do very well with a  properly sized trailer.  There are many people on the Fun Finder Forum http://www.funfinderclub.com/phpBB2/index.php that are towing with smaller vehicles than yours and seem to do just fine.  I have always preferred to have a longer wheelbase TV.
