Good point! Sounds like the furnace can use quite a bit.
Plus if you put that type of cover on, what’s going to stop the cover from catching fire from the water heater and the furnace exhaust . If a fire should start, how would you get out the emergency exit if the windows are covered. Exhaust from these appliances and the fridge need to be able to escape to the atmosphere. If they are covered, you are going to die the first night you sleep there.
