Wipers won?t dock.

2005 Travel Supreme.  After traveling through heavy rain. Windshield wipers are resting at each edge of the windshield rather than in the middle as they are supposed to.  Makes it impossible to put on a front windshield cover.

That was a real common problem with 70s and 80s GM products.  There is a park pawl inside the wiper motor that probably has failed.  The other option is the shaft on the motor output slipped.  If you can turn the wipera on, cycle them and turn them off and they park in the same place I would loosten the output shaft nut move the wipers to the correct position and retighten the nut.

If there starting and stopping on their own then the motor needs replacing.
