yet another tow dolly question

hello all, we are brand new to rv'n and preparing for our first trip south. I was hoping to find a small toad and tow bar set up but am running out of time as winter is approaching rapidly here in the NEast, so am considering buying a tow dolly and was wondering if  I will be ok towing my 2010 lacrosse (approx 4000 lbs) behind our 2003 adventurer 35ft  w22, with 8.1 vortec with a dolly? thank's

The Lacrosse + the dolly probably come close to the Adventurers max tow limit, but it should be ok.  The better grade of dolly typically runs 450-550 lbs, so you would be around 4600 lbs if your estimate is right.  Most W22's can handle a 5000 lb tow, but it depends on the actual loaded weight of the coach.  The hitch receiver on an Adventurer is usually rated for 5000 max.
