We were pleased that we changed the Delicate Arch hike to 8:00u
I still never cease to be amazed at the number of people who go hiking without a hat, water, sunblock, or appropriate shoes. I'll bet a lot of people we saw today are going to have painful sunburns tomorrow. Also, we noticed way too many footprints in the fragile cryptobiotic crust - I wish people would stay on the trails and help preserve this wonderful place for future generations!

Betty Brewer said:Terry won Goofy award for directing the off road group on the WRONG run today. He steered them into a much more difficult run than was planned. Henry loved it as did Gary who rode with Terry and was glad he did not subject his Jeep to the torture! Terry mentioned in his acceptance speech that he had won that award many times. He offered that those who won the most awards got a free week at Portal RV. Not many were buying his story!

I heard Dale is joining 4 wheel drive group as a passenger tomorrow while Dee opted to join shopping and ladies luncheon. Thai food will be new and so will 4 wheeling. We see a Jeep in Dale's future!
