Do you have a overhead slide awning? The seals that run on surface of slide as it opens should not have any folds on it, it should be flat against slidewall.
A fold will allow water to get behind the seal and travel down behind seal on to your floor.

Herd your anode rod is in place to collect minerals in water to protect the tank. The circuit breaker tripping could be caused by heating element shorting out after heating for a while, may have to change your heating element.

Do you have a outside shower and are the two faucets turned off? Do you have a mixing valve for the shower or you adjust by two faucets?
A tank may give a steadier flow but isn't necessary.

Material left in dry tank of TT will most likely cause your problem.
They should dump your large extra tank but leave your TT tank valves alone, so you always have water in it and the material can not dry in bottom of tank...
