I have a class c coachman MH on a e450. I'm thinking about getting a scanguageII.  Anyone know where the OBD plug is on this vehicle and does anyone use the scanguage on a class c. Pros  / cons.

If you have one they are usually on left or right of steering column just under dash. May have a dust cap on female plug.

Your E450 is big enough that it is not legally required to have an OBD II connector, but it probably does anyway. Ford uses them on the engines that the E450 uses, so it's probably there. Will be dangling somewhere around the steering column.

thanks 007 and gary now i at least have an idea where to look.  any experience with the scan guage

I assume that's only for outside of CA!

I thought they were required.  But even in NV, they not only use the OBD2 connector for the yearly smog test (near or in Reno and Las Vegas only), they check MUCH more than they do with a car. Their reasoning is that larger vehicles pollute more.
