try air bags in the front of your tow car. it worked for me.

I got 6 mpg with my 31 ft class c. That was pulling/not pulling/driving fast/driving to save fuel.

I'm in Oregon and have an '87 Bronco 2. Off roading here is good at Browns Camp in the Tillamook forest and Sand Lake. Florence is great for sand and many many other places to have fun here. If your going to be in Oregon with your off road rig let me know.

ECM was dead

New ECM works fine. All is well except we are not going to Yellowstone this year!

This is going to cost me around $1,900 including labor for a new ECM. However, once he  puts the new one on, there could be another problem.

Mine is covered by insurance too. Star RV. I should have gotten it towed because they will not pay for the service call.  It was $300 cheaper to work on it here. I live and I learn.  :'(

Well, he just left with the ECM to get a new one. He will be back in about an hour and then we will see. It has fuel, I checked all 100 or so fuses, fuel is going to the injectors. There is no emergency shut off switch. Anyone want to buy it after its fixed? I am getting too old for this...

Anyone have this happen? I have Cummins N.W. mechanic coming here in 30 minutes.  >:(

I have a 38 ft diesel pusher that has air breaks and a jake break. When pluuing the car trailer every time the jake brake kicks in, the trailer breaks come on very hard causing the tires to smoke.. My question is; using a brake controller and having the jake break on does not seem to be working...

I have a Prodigy break controller on my DP. I just bought a new flat bed car hauler. I drove it about 20 miles and all of s sudden the trailer breaks locked up and took all of the tread off the tires in patches. Has anyone had such a problem and what do you think causes it? Dave
