Take a scenic route and take US 2 across northern New Hampshire and Vermont. follow US 2 to Vt 100 to US 4 across to NY state all the way to the Finger lakes region all scenic with lots of historical sites without much Interstate driving. Very doable with your motorhome even if you tow...
Front wheels off the ground maybe, rear wheels off the ground never. Parking brake or transmission in park on gas drive motorhomes do not work if rear wheels are off the ground.
We do that with our 32' fiver leave it at a seasonal site in northern N.H. then we travel everyplace else with our 9.5' Adventurer TC. One truck two RV lifestyles. Works great for us and that is all that matters. Go for it. Allygerry
We have a stackable washer and dryer in our fifth wheel and love them. Used almost daily. DW would not want an RV without them this our second unit with the combo, first time was in a motorhome.
WE owned a Forest River Lexington 255 GTS model with two slides. Went on numerous trips of two to four weeks no problem. Then in 2007 took an extended 15,800 mile round trip to Alaska and back to Fl. gone 6 months. We did not have a toad went about everywhere a motorhome could travel to. Plan...
You better think about pulling a couple of horses behind an F-250 with a TC mounted on the truck. The truck will handle the TC alone or the horses alone however the combo is too much for an F-250. Small boat no problem with the TC. Have had 4 TC campers and unless your in the one ton truck...
We had a Remco on our Ford Explorer and loved the idea of four down towing. It was easy to use and very reliable We had approximately 60,000 towed miles on it and 75,000 driven miles without a problem on the drive shaft disconnect. Would not hesitate doing a Remco again.
Even if the circuit breakers don't look tripped turn them off and then back on. Make sure you trip the main breaker also. Is this a 30amp or 50amp unit? If it's a 50amp maybe your only getting one leg of the circuit could explain why some receptacles are still energized. Double check all the GFI's.
Fasten the washer and dryer bases to the floor and shelf respectively using 90 degree brackets from any hardware store. Usually you can see where the studs are on the outside in the morning or evening when the dew is on the RV. We always turn off the water on the washer after use. Good luck...
Surge brakes work real well and do help shorten the stopping distance. If and when you get another vehicle that might weigh more your all set and not worry about am I going to stop on time. " Get The Brakes"
I use non ethanol gas in our lantern and stove it works great, no problem whatsoever. Non ethanol is a lot cheaper and does the same job. I have been using it for over five years without a problem. Coleman lanterns and stoves go hand and hand with camping. Allygerry
