    VISTA vs ADVENTURER

I am confused. The 36y that we walked through did not have day/night shades.  Makes sense since MDC charges much less for blackout shades than day/night ones. Also. Since the replacement costs are so high, we will probably accept the standard sofa, give it to Habitat for Hmanity and install...

    VISTA vs ADVENTURER

The sunstar that we walked through had a very small house fridge and single (blackout) MDC shades.  Also the batteries were not is a slide out tray.  Does your righ have day/night shades?  Do find that it easy to check the innermost batteries? As of now we are leaning towards ordering the 36y...

    VISTA vs ADVENTURER

As far as I can tell there is no significant difference between the vista and the sunstar.

    VISTA vs ADVENTURER

Good suggestion.  Unfortunately the issue is not cost, it is the gourmet kitchen.

    VISTA vs ADVENTURER

In our search for a new Class A my gourmet cook wife has fallen in love with the kitchen in the VISTA 36Y.  My concern is that the VISTA clearly features lower quality components than does the Adventurer.  For example no MCD Day/Night shades.  While I probably can do many upgrades myself if I...

    2008 itasca horizon 40t?

Thanks. It looks like the rig has the original tires and batteries. Not sure about the seals and awnings. I guess I have to ask lots of questions. The rig is built on a Maxum chassis.  Not sure what that means. Arne

    2008 itasca horizon 40t?

Three years ago we downsized from an Adventurer to an access premier class c. Big mistake. We are ready to upgrade. Just looked at a 2008 Itasca Horizon 40T with 40k miles at Camping Word in Madison WI. Asking price $140k. We like the rig,  but are nervous about buying something that old. What...

Self install Kingdome dish on Access 31WP

Thanks.  That is very helpful.  What attracted me to the King Dome was the fact that it does not need a separate power supply.  Not sure where to capture the 12 Volt supply and where to place the on/off switch,

Self install Kingdome dish on Access 31WP

I am considering purchasing and installing a King Dome 5500 for my Access 31WP.  The location of the Winnebago-provided cables are clearly marked on the roof, so that should not be a problem.  My concern has to do with how to fasten the dome to the roof.  Can I simply screw the unit to the...

Thank you John, Gary and Docj for your help.  I purchased a "Lamp Thermistor Wire Ass." Part no 618548 for $20 at a local RV shop.  Plug-in took 5 minutes. Problem solved.   Thanks again
