    Leaving the dog while working

Hi Rene T....couldn't pull up your site but want you to know that I am considered a foster failure.  Six of my little ones were my fosters that nobody wanted and we took in along with all vet bills.  I have fostered over thirty little doggies that were adopted to fabulous homes.  I foster for...

    Leaving the dog while working

We have camped with two doggies that nobody knew where in our motorhome....only barked if someone knocked on the door.... campground employees, were so happy to say my doggies didn't bark till they knocked on the door.  As long as doggies are well trained to not bark at any noise they are fine. ...

    What do you do?

We leave a small fan on the dash for air circulation between the curtains and windshield, and have the vents cracked for the rest of the motorhome.

    Dicor leveling caulk

Thank you for responses, I have been doing this yearly sealing just to make sure we have no problems with leaks.  Been doing this for nine years on the motorhome and have had no problems with roof leaks...just some delamination on fiberglass walls.  Hope to conquer this over the next year. ...

    Dicor leveling caulk

When I started this morning the weather was to be nice for a few days with temps dropping. Accomplished the yearly maintanence of sealing my motorhome rubber roof seams with Dicor leveling caulk. All went well...finished about 3 pm. Walked out the door at 7:30 pm it is raining! I looked at the...

How long do you own your RV before buying a new one.

We've had our motorhome for 9 years now, no slides but is 34 ft and will not trade or sell her.  So much fun traveling and having our doggies with us to enjoy the travels.  They are the main reason we took the step into RV ownership.  No one will say they have to stay in a garage again....they...

What's you favorite dish to make when camping

My husband enjoys making chili from scratch.  We prep for this a couple weeks before we leave and make sure when we get to our site that we have all of the best ingredients and good oak wood for the campfire.  Starts about 9 am and about 6 pm we sit down to an excellent bowl of chili...tissues...

POLL: Which one of the following annoys you most when staying in an RV Park

Other campers cutting through our site and not cleaning up after their pets are a close tie but pet poo stinks no matter how tiny your dog is.  Very inconsiderate people.

thoughts about switching from TT to MH

We own a MH and TT, both 34 ft.  I do 99% of the driving for MH and 100% for trailer.  DH likes it that way so he can sight see along the way or nap.  The travel trailer had me very scared the first time since trailer was at different location from where the truck was getting the hitch ...

What do you prefer: a homecooked meal or night on the town

Wouldn't want a special occasion spoiled with a so so meal at a restaurant.  Can beat home cooked meals.

    Unbreakable microwave safe dinnerware?

We replaced our ugly plastic with Corelle.  Happened to jump a curb in slow motion and the upper cabinet door opened dropping the corelle set onto the vinyl floor.  Not one broke, we were surprised but lesson learned, make sure dishes are on rubber mat so they don't slide out.  Haven't jumped...

    ok, another dog comment

Mike, we traveled with at rottie the first four years in our MH.  We had no problems at any campgrounds we made reservations at or stopped at.  When we saw they had breed restrictions I let them know I had a rottie, but when they met her they said no problem.  Many of them loved her.  As long as...
