    Very wierd electrical problem.

Unless you are competent in electrical work, you should seek help asap. Electrical issues can lead to fires and the loss of the entire coach. Keep in mind that the coach lighting is 12vdc so if your observations were correct, you have a significant issue.

    Chassis Battery Disconnect

I have a Trik-L-Start installed on my 09 Journey. I added 400 watts of solar to my coach in 2013 and connected the solar to the Trik-L-Start input so both my my Coach and Chassis battery banks get charged by the solar with both disconnects switched off. I you do not have one installed, it is...

    coach batteries

If you have flooded batteries without a load and continually change them, the electrolyte in them will gradually evaporate, individual cells can be affected leaving you with damaged battery. In most cases, the battery will be destroyed and require replacement. Looks like you need a set of new...

I installed my solar in 2014. Mounted 4-100 watt panels at the rear. Drilled thru the roof into the rear hollow wall bathroom wall and routed with the Winn wiring into the compartment behind the rear DS axle using the Winn route/ opening. Inside were the connections and solenoids for both...

    Cummins 350 over heating

Had the same issues with my 2009 Journey 39z. Had a small rad leak and replaced the rad in 2017. In May of this year, had issues with the temp shooting up from 190 to 225 almost instantly. Had to have the fan clutch replaced as John suggested. Prior to replacing the rad,  I had it cleaned twice...

Where are the mounting screws for the valence over the top of the blinds?

A power screwdriver with a 6 inch or longer bit will greatly simplify the task and make both removal and reinstallation simple. Because the screws are and will be hidden from view, you have some latitude in the removal process as well. Once you have perfecting finding the screw heads, you will...

Most  truck stops well them - they are a couple of dollars. Some have them in multiple sizes. Might be worth checking them before ordering from Winnebago.

    Aspect 30J

Winnebago recently announced that they were immediately discontinuing the Aspect and Cambria. You are limited to existing dealer stock and the used market. We had a Cambria and both units filled a unique niche for a high end, feature rich class C. It is unfortunate - not really sure what...

    Transfer switch burn out

In most transfer switches, there is an inordinate risk that the connections will come lose with vibration over time. When this happens, there is resistance in the contacts that generates heat when in operation and frequently leads to arcing resulting in destruction of the switch. You should make...

    TV removal

Yonder Glad you got it off. If you have a TV over the dash, it has the same mount. With a couple if beers and hammers, you and I could likely take the whole coach apart. Mine had both sidewalls replaced so I got more experience fixing things than I ever expected but enjoy doing most jobs! Good luck

    TV removal

Yonder I have the same mount in my 09 Journey. It has two parts - a frame attached to the sidewall with wood panel sides and a bracket attacked to the tv itself. The top of the frame has a rail that the bracket attached to the TV hangs on. To get the tv down, look up under the rear of the tv...

Electric aux. cooling fans for radiator

I have experienced the same overheating on my Journey. Travelled 500+ miles on a rainy day in June in an area that hadnt had rain for some time. Picked up a tremendous amount of dust - now dirt off the wet road - that was thrown at the front of the rad behind the rear wheels. About a week later...

Removing Norcold 1200LRIM in a Winnebago

On my 09 Journey, I recall there were significant steel brackets on both sides holding the fridge. Might want to check both of the sides. There was no silicone or other adhesive anywhere on mine. Good luck.

    Location of Slide Controller

i think that there is a sort of generic answer to your question for Winnebago coaches. Winn power the slides from the chassis batteries. The controller is likely co-located with the breakers for other heavy circuits powered by the chassis batteries. On my Journey, all the low power automotive...
