    Replacing flooring - recommendations?!

Even thin ozite indoor/outdoor carpet is too spongy to put wood on top. Was that a professional Installer?

    Replacing flooring - recommendations?!

I just put a solid (luxury) vinyl floor in my daughters basement. Totally water proof. I was impressed with how how tight the seams were. Even a single water spill can permanently deform a basic laminate floor. Real wood is better, but much heavier. When it comes time to do my rv floor I'm going...

    RV Curtains, suggestions?

My 2000 rv is new to me this summer. First thing I did was to take out all the elaborate (and heavy) upholstered valances and wooden frames that held the day/night shades. Rv was instantly lighter and brighter and seemed larger inside. My walls are 1/4" plywood, then foam, then fiberglass...

    Alpine Coach electrical

I trouble shot (better than trouble shooted) this problem myself. For anyone else thats interested, two nuts behind the headlight switch module release it from the dash, There are 2 standard automotive connections in the back. One with 4 spade plugs and the other with 6. Upon close examination...

factory RV solar panels from 2000

Thanks for the great responses. Because I live in sub arctic Wisconsin, and won't be free to follow the weather for another couple of years (when spouse can retire and get medicare) I need to store this coach through the winter. So, I was looking at solar as a multi-phase project. Right now I...

factory RV solar panels from 2000

Hello. So I finally got my dream RV which is an Alpine coach 36 from the year 2000. It came from the factory with a pair of 50W solar panels (in parallel) and a simple charge controller. Here is my question/confusion. As far as I can tell, the solar panels are connected to all the batteries...

    Federal Income Tax Withholding Estimator

I received a notice one year saying I owed $1300.00. Like you, I went over my return and noticed THEY had made a mistake with a decimal point. And like you, when I pointed that out they said something to the effect of "oh, ok, never mind then." I bet it happens a lot.

    Alpine Coach electrical

Hmm. My reply did not post. You have a good point. I will check the fuses and their sockets again. I just don't get how the ceiling lights work with the dimmer but not the instrument lights.

    Alpine Coach electrical

I just picked up a 2000 Alpine 36, which I love (so far). Driving home I realized that non of the instrument panel or AC/Heat gauges lit up in the dark. The headlights, signals, hazard, backup parking lights, all work fine. Like a car, there is a rheostat/dimmer for the gauges, and when you...

    Alpine coach entrance doors

I thought I was right down to making a final decision on a 36 alpine when I noticed the door is much smaller looking than the 40. Is this Correct? Is it an optical illusion or is it SUPER narrow at the top? Anyone with first hand experience, or a measuring tape? Thank you.

History Lessons needed: Holiday Rambler 1999 Endeavor (gas) 36WGS

Hello. I am thinking about a 1999 Holiday Rambler Endeavor (Gas) 36WGS. I can't find out whether it had any airbags in the suspension. Did HR use multiple chassis for that year/model? Or all Ford? I have searched around but cannot find a spec sheet/brochure or manual online. So, as I see it, HR...
