    Air Force One or M&G

I have M&G on my Wrangler, Air Force on the Cherokee. the only reason for the Air Force is that the M&G would not fit. They both work well, but the M&G. in my opinion, is less complicated and thus less prone to problems. My advice .... if the M&G fits, use it!

    The great unfurl

Tom, we are sitting here at Gun Barrel hoping for rain from this storm. Sounds like you have had your fill of the wind. Glade you didn't have any major damage.

Tow bars on as 2013 Cherokee?

From my experience, the tow bar brackets present no problem ... but when you put the cross bar on it sets in front of the sensor and the radar won't see through it. So usually when you have the cross bar on, you are towing the Jeep, and it isn't a factor. However ... it's possible that the...

Tow bars on as 2013 Cherokee?

I have the 2013 Grand Cherokee with the Roadmaster tow bar. Installation was easy, I took it to the M&G aux brake factory (a short drive away) and let them install it.  You do need to take off the plastic under the bumper and shave a little off to allow for the bracket. Unfortunately they...

Tow bars on as 2013 Cherokee?

I purchased a 2013 Grand Cherokee to tow behind the motor home, replacing the Tahoe. Installed Roadmaster tow brackets and an Air Force brake system. (I really wanted the M&G brake, but there was no room at the master cylinder for the M&G unit) Now the forward looking radar won't work properly...

    Welcome Back RVFORUM

For those of you who can't imagine what it's like, trying to get a very complicated piece of software back up and running via telephone, let me tell you that Tom hasn't had much sleep in this past week. Normally I would wander by to say hello every day, but since the forum has been unstable he...

    Who has a Golf Cart.

The original post asked for pictures of your golf cart.  This isn't mine but I thought it was a unique look.

    Scanner for police/fire buffs?

If you have a smart phone, there is probably an app that will turn it into a scanner.  I have one on my iPhone that seems to work OK.

    Tag axle

I'm not sure I explained my question very well. I agree that a steering tag axle must be effective in shortening the turning radius, since it's a feature on expensive units. However, my question related to the ability of the tag axle to push the rear end around when the four tires of the drive...

    Tag axle

If that's the case, then there doesn't seem to be a need to lift the tag (on a non steering tag) since it's rolling also and has only half the ground contact.  I guess the steering tag works, because they are installed and used, but it seems that you are asking an axle with only two tire...

2012 RVForum QUARTZSITE RALLY - Info & Sign up

Bob, please take our name off the attending list.  We have a front air bag that won't inflate, so we won't be moving until we are able to get that fixed. We were happy that we were able to see a few folks at the FMCA rally this week. Robert & Carol Penn

Interactive Quiz. A little humor for those over 50!

My first car was a 1931 Chevrolet Coupe.  Paid $50 dollars for it, drove it for three years and sold it for $100.  Recently saw one at a classic car sales lot, not restored but in excellent original condition.  They wanted $30,000 for it.

    Hello from Rockport Texas

Don't know whether you enjoy fishing, but I used to drag the boat over to Palm Harbor on windy days to fish in the intercoastal. Fishing was good there then (30 years ago) and the water calm compared to the bay.
