    Newbie

We are retired residents of upstate NY and own a Class A motorhome, which I highly recommend.  We spent between 4-5 months a year living in it.  Interestingly, we have met several ex-NYers who moved to the Carolinas or Florida and are sorry they left NY; some are moving back. Back to the...

Philly to Miami safest route in winter? I'm nervous...

I would like to know, from you RVers who take I95 around DC, what would you recommend as the best time?  The one time we tried it, we left Fredericksburg, VA (headed north) at 5:15 AM and at 5:45AM were in bumper to bumper traffic until we hit Baltimore.

Philly to Miami safest route in winter? I'm nervous...

We travel from upstate NY to Naples, FL to the FL Keys right after Christmas.  Due to the condition of 95 and the traffic we travel the following:  Route 87 > 84 >81 >77 > 26 > 95.  As OP stated, keep your eye on the weather but we haven't had a problem.

I downloaded the ALLSTAYS app and the Campground portion does not work on my IPAD.  I sent an email and was told that would not work on IOS7.  FYI

We leave end of December from Saratoga, NY and our Route is: 87, 84, 81, 77, 26, 95. Stay in Mechanicsville, Pa first night, then Ft. Chiswell, VA.  Usually do 350 miles per day.  For those of you who stay in Wal-Marts, what town are they in? We have found many are posting signs that indicate no...

    pennsylvania to florida by motorhome

One of the most fantastic places for children is Discovery Cove.  Our grandchildren absolutely loved it.  Although pricey, EVERYTHING is included: food (not junk, healthy appetizing food stations set us throughout), suntan lotion, towels, etc.  The experience with the marine life and beautiful...

Heading south this winter, where to stay ?

We head south right after Christmas and stay a few days in Naples and then go down to the FL Keys for a couple of months as it's warmer than the mainland of FL.

We are also headed to the Cape after Labor Day.  Friends have recommended Atlantic Oaks Campground in Eastham.
