Question on cleaning bug debris from windshield and front cap

I tried dryer sheets a couple times a few years ago. I spent more time scrubbing off the dryer sheet residue than if I had just scrubbed the bugs off in the first place. I just use water and a few drops of Jet Dry (the stuff for dishwashers) now. I don't know that the Jet Dry helps get the bugs...

    RV Stereo recommendations?

I recently replaced a worn out 5.1 in my motorhome with another relatively inexpensive unit. Left old speakers in place and set the speakers that came with the new unit aside (they're not worth much). I had to also install an inexpensive coaxial to optical converter in line to run the audio from...

Is a brake buddy that important, just weighing the cost

We tow an '01 Jeep Wrangler with an RViBrake and Roadmaster towbar setup.  The "base plate" was a snap to install on the Jeep.  It just bolts on the bottom of the bumper/frame.  Unlike other installations on cars, there is no cutting or fitting.  I did have a little difficulty removing the...

    Binswanger Glass

You might talk to bluemoonrv.com if you are in the DFW area.  They are in Carrollton and do just about anything RV. You can take your RV to them or they can come to you. Might be worth a try.

RVIbrake2 vs Brake Buddy Advantage vs Blue Ox Patriot vs ?

We have had the RViBrake for two years. Previous to that we had the Roadmaster version of "brake-in-a-box". The RViBrake is much easier and faster to install.  It is much smaller, the brake pedal connection goes on with one hand in a snap, and then you touch the setup button and it cycles...

FMCA Rally, Redmond Oregon August 2014

Jim, We are heading out the 9th. Going up to Spokane and then down on the way and maybe back this way via a southern route. Don't know for sure how far we will go on the 9th. We will see what kind of driving mood I'm in I guess. Have to be there on the 10th though.

FMCA Rally, Redmond Oregon August 2014

We are volunteers and have full hookup parking.  I have received a sticker for E15, whatever that means, and will be arriving on the 10th.  We are tram volunteers but don't know our schedule yet.

Is end of August too late to visit Denali, Alaska, for bear/wolf sightings?

Hopefully, I'll get this correct this time. We cruised the inside passage year before last during the latter part of August.  Once we reached Seward from Vancouver we rented a car and went on to Talkeetna.  We had a mix of weather in what we were told would be the rainy season.  We had gorgeous...

    Route to/from West Yellowstone

You will enjoy both of those drives.  287/87 takes you along the wide open valley of the Madison River with mountains on both sides.  The route is relatively flat except for a "pass"/hill near Norris.  It is a wide road with plenty of space for the slow climbers and speedy passers.  You will...

Weather in Yellowstone NP in Late September

You should check out the following link for road information. http://www.nps.gov/yell/planyourvisit/roadclosures.htm Your only choice to Gros Ventre will be out the south entrance and through the Tetons. You will have a couple side road options in the Tetons but it is still a basically a...
