    Use of Campground Showers

And, for the record, the correct saying is "I couldn't care less".  "I could care less" means you actually can care less... since you could - there is wiggle room there since you might not care much, but you can care less.

    Use of Campground Showers

I have never been to a campground where I wouldn't use the showers, and have used them each and every time.  There is just not enough room on my RV shower for me and taking a long one without worrying about whether I'll have to drain the tank in the dark afterward (my showers are always before bed).

    brake buddy

Love my BB.  Don't understand the complaints about installation - if putting the unit on the floor, placing the whatyoumacallit over the brake pedal and moving up your seat forward to give it a firm backing in the event it has to do what it does is difficult to do, then I have to wonder how...

Sorry....take YOUR dog somewhere else (they say)

I'm sorry but, in this litigous society, I don't blame a property owner from trying to limit their liability by this means.  I'm not saying it's right - I love large dogs and Rotties have always been my favourite.  However, with everyone wanting to sue everyone for every little thing that's...

    Grumpy old people

I'm in the same boat, but at 42.  13 more years and it's done for me.  A few months after, DW will be 53 and she'll also be done.  Going to full-timing after that, hoping to find a way to workamp down in the warmer climate for winter.  If not, it's not a big deal and we'll still snowbird without...

    Testing Emergency Exits: A Question

Yep, this is mine.  Would tear out the gasket.

    Grumpy old people

To each their own, I guess. I don't mind rules.  I usually get a chance to see them before I sign up to stay there and wouldn't stay there if I didn't like them.  If I agree to them, I appreciate if they are enforced.  In fact, I expect them to be enforced.  If there are rules, there must be...

How does Coach-Net compare to CAA in Canada ?

That's right, I forgot to mention in my earlier reply that the fact it covers dependants under 25 was also a part of the deal breaker for me.  Daughter turns 16 in a few months and will be driving soon.

How does Coach-Net compare to CAA in Canada ?

I've had to use CAA once for the motorhome - St-Jean Baptiste day just east of Trois-Rivieres.  There service was great and got there in under an hour, surprising since this is a major holiday for Quebec. However, when evaluating Coach-Net and CAA, I went with CN.  I didn't hear anything...

    Thoughts About Campground Clubs?

Passport America is the one that paid off for us almost immediately, but you need to have a good look at it before you join.  Plan out where you would like to stay in the next year (or 3 years in my case, since I bought the 3 year membership).  At the time, we had places we wanted to stay in...

    Picture Requirement Fair or Unfair

Personally, I see no problem with the need to provide a picture of self and rig.  The owner certainly has an idea of what image they want their park to project.  For example, someone who wants to run an upscale park would not want someone with tattoo sleeves on both arms working in a position as...

    Have we become soft?

I'm pretty sure there are a significant number of us probably starting camping using a tent and sleeping in a sleeping bag with the thin layer of material between us and the ground.  Now I couldn't even think of doing it.

    Blue Ox Break Buddy

Pretty sure that, ultimately, regardless of who made it, they work the same way.  Motor turns on, air pressure builds to a specific PSI, braking motion causes the air pressure to activate a cylinder that presses the brake pedal. My initial thought is that there is probably a seal gone bad...

    Has anyone joined "Passport America?"

Pa will more than pay for itself if you plan things right.  Before you join, take a look at where you're planning on going in the next year or so and check for member campgrounds in the area.  Have a look at their website(s).  If they look like places you'd like, then join up.  I joined before...

    EMERGENCY VEHICLE LAWS.........

In all honesty, I recall seeing one sign somewhere, but have no clue where it was.
