I don't know what would be best......but i do know that the wind can, and will come in strong and hard and change directions in a hurry..........we had what the natives called a micro-burst one night that hit so hard that it pulled the closed awning up over the lock tabs.....  buy the time i hit...

I can do that and have done that, but I'm just trying to protect the stock awning, ........and it is old and heavy like me.........cranky and hard to handle.......I'm just looking for simpler and lighter...........if that is possible........

I have a standard sized awning on my old bounder. It is in good shape, but it must be tough ;), because it has blown over the top a couple of times since i've had it.........it is getting to be a chore for me to handle when the wind comes up.......most of the summer we camp at one or two lakes...

I haven't had to do anything to mine except use it, for the the last three years.......the best thing about the set-up is that it is simple.......and it works ;)......... I'm glad it worked out for ya.........

I could be the guy you are referring to.........i have been using my sears disposal for a couple of years..i rigged it with a 1 1/2 in. corrugated hose, and pump about 30 ft up a slight incline to my clean out at my house.............has worked well...........we only do 3 or 4 day boon-docking...

I worked a hard, dirty, hot and cold job at a cement plant for 30 years as a union man......bla bla.........but the workforce has changed today........my opinion is that if the worker is giving 100% and can't get the pay or benefits that he/she needs.........then they need to move on to bigger...

I'm just wondering why wall mart oil is 15 bucks cheaper than, [say Oreiley] for a 5 qt. jug of  Valvoline full syn.......???  Am i missing some thing???............the labels are different...
