Fairly New to RVing. Buying new toyhauler. Which brand is best?

Hello:  I own a Eclipse Attitude, and love it.  They are a good company based in Riverside Ca, and have good customer service for any warranty issues that might arise. Attention to detail is the key (in my opinion), and these trailers show it. Good luck and have fun!

    Electrical Problem

Not a master electrician myself, but I would check for corrosion on the contacts on your plug and socket at the house.  You might only be getting partial voltage to the rig.  Best bet is to get a meter and check it often.

Can you plug in your 30 amp RV into your 30 amp house dryer plug?

If you really need to use 30 amp while parked at home, the ONLY SAFE WAY is to have an electrician install a 30 amp, 120 volt plug and dedicated circuit and breaker for your RV in the stick house panel. Too much potential for fire and damage as others have noted.  Never mess with Mr. 240!

    Do I need sway bars?

Just my opinion....get and use a WD hitch and sway control. You won't regret it!  If you don't, someday you may.  :-\

    Shower drain

Just completed a similiar project in my TH bathroom.  The shower pan support was weak and the drain leaked. One of the legs had fallen out and wasn't supporting the floor.  I too had a access panel to use to eyeball the issues. I pulled the shower pan out and rebuild the platform and repaired...

    Ideas for Toy Hauler garage?

If you are serious about a tub, I would make sure the frame and supports can hold that much weight. Not to mention that water would eventually soak into the wood subfloor and start rotting. I wouldn't do that to my TH. Perhaps a cool living room setup and a sit down bar would be cool? Just my 2...

    Bulldog Power Trailer Jack ?

They are good....I use their jack rated at 4000 lbs.  You need this umph for lifting the truck and trailer to release the hitch bars.

    Newbie in the IE

Helomech: 11.6 volts is undercharged.  A good battery will set at 12.6 or so fully charged. I would charge it to 12.6, install it and then pull each 12v fuse until you see the reading change on the dvom...Don't connect to shore power during this test. It will give you an approximate idea of...

    Flowjet wiring help

I too have installed this pump.  Ran the shipped wire harness to a take off point near the front where all the 12V wires go....straight into the batteries. Look around underneath or near the pump for a possible jump point. In my case, it was near the 12v disconnect.  Just wire tied the 10ga...

Hello! Check to be sure your battery disconnect is not closed.  Like John said, your DVM is a good tool. EG

    Hello from Orange County California

Hi to all! We have a 20ft Eclipse Attitude toy hauler for our outings, and to bring along our Harley motorcycles or bicycles. We like to camp at the beach and mountains, especially during the Spring-Fall. Great weather in SOCAL. Not sure if there is a toy hauler forum here, but will read...
