Rand McNally Overdryve 7 RV review

I was sold on one until I read that it does not support or limited on which apps it will download.  I was hoping to consolidate into one device.  Deal breaker for me.  Appreciate the review.

Camping World CEO tells CNBC Trump supporters should not shop at his businesses

Maybe naive, but think the media seems to have again distorted what was ment on both sides.  Still believe in America and agree CEOs should not make such comments.  CW still dropped another notch if that is possible.

Installed a Rear View Safety rear view camera today.

Just replacing the monitor may not resolve your complaint.  You would need to also know the pixel rating of your camera.  It might be your monitor, camera, switching box, or all of the above that is not providing the image quality you are after.  I will say the Rear View system I have is a...

Installed a Rear View Safety rear view camera today.

When I installed mine, I was originally told that I would need a similar set-up or would need the diodes as previously described.  Even found it on the Internet so must have been true! When I was actually installing my unit, to my surprise, I did not need either option.  There was a wire within...

Moving up to a DP: Do I really need a tag axle for a stable unit?

Taking a close look at a 42 foot tag Phaeton but has the 360 HP Cummins.  Seems a little underpowered, but again I am used to driving a gasser so attributing some of my lack of DP driving experience.  Anyone know of issues that I should be aware of?  Seems like a nice coach but no expert.

Moving up to a DP: Do I really need a tag axle for a stable unit?

Test driving and experiencing such a wide range of conditions is difficult in such a short duration so asking owners when I see something comparable to what I am looking at.  Will check out the Country Coach floor plans to see if a consideration.  I was talking to one 40 foot Tiffin Bus owner...

Moving up to a DP: Do I really need a tag axle for a stable unit?

Looking at mid level DP like Tiffin and Fleetwoods right now.  Hopefully they are not skimping.  Seems like mfg have good rep.  Bus level have Spartan independant front suspensions which I have been told will ride better.  Plus offer the larger 400-425 ISL.  Seems like a good chassis but no expert.

Moving up to a DP: Do I really need a tag axle for a stable unit?

Currently have a 35 foot V10 unit and cross winds or wind gusts can really make it rough when driving all day.  I am planning on moving up to a DP and was originally thinking about just getting a 40 footer.  Then I have heard that, although heavier and less issues than my gasser, a 40 will still...

    Fisher & Paykel Dish Washer

Put one in my RV and Kathy loves it.  No water that I can see but placed the loop Brad mentioned right beside the dishwasher to minimize any backflow and well above the sink drain.  Placed the unit right below the stove.

    Viewing Netflix content offline

Just tried this last night on 3 movies.  They downloaded in about 20 seconds which amazed me.  Fortunately have an unlimited plan, but it stated that the download was only 100MB for a normal TV show so not that bad.  Now just to get mirroring to work on my Roku or get streaming to work from my...

Tag Axle wheel rim orientation. Why sometimes different?

Well at least we know that Freightliner was the manufacturer with that tire orientation.  I had a salesman tell me once that when you see that, it is a steerable axle but found nothing within the literature, for that year, to support his statement thus the reason for my question.  After...

Tag Axle wheel rim orientation. Why sometimes different?

Just read the Tiffin specs a little closer to make sure they did not offer a steerable axle which I do not see that option on the 2008 model year, but I just noticed that they offered both the Freightliner and the Spartan Chassis.  I bet that is the difference but now wonder which one is which...

Tag Axle wheel rim orientation. Why sometimes different?

I have been looking at tag axle units and noticed that sometimes the far rear wheels are sometimes orientated the same as the front rims.  Specifically looking at '08 Tiffins so did not think they offered steering rear axles in that time frame especially on 42 footers.  Anyone know why?

Is a Garden Tub a plus or a minus?

I have been looking at rigs online and found a unit that has a Garden Tub.  Would this be a positive or a negative compared to a 36" shower?  Thought I heard that Garden Tubs are even larger than a 36" shower unit so if right that would be a good thing since I am 6'3".  Thoughts or opinions:

    Good Sam Does it again......

Who in the heck runs their business?  Must look for ways to tick people off.  Just received some information that they are offering something new where you can get perks or discounts with other businesses like restaurants, grocery stores, and etc.  This is beyond what they were offering in the...
