    Towing with my Allegro Bay

OK, Thanks I will check the library before asking in the future.. I guess what I was after more or less, is someone with towing experience with a similar set up. I realize after reading the post again that I was not very clear with that. I am going to take the coach and have it weighed. I will...

    Camping guides for North America

On this forum I read a thread about Campground guidebooks, which one was the best etc.., and one of them was on DVD or CD rom. I can't recall what the names of those were, Can someone help me out? I called myself searching, but I could not find the thread I was looking for, or the info?  If I...

Wineguard tuning problems, and satellite questions

Thanks... it is a manual setup. When I have tried to use it, I was pretty level. I will have to try and recalibrate it.  I selected the dish 300 setting as well. I think I will spend the money on a tripod and dish setup. I can see where trees would be a problem as every campsite we have used so...

Wineguard tuning problems, and satellite questions

I have a Wineguard roof mount satellite antenna. I have had problems getting it to tune into the Satellite. I have checked and rechecked the elevation and direction. How acurate are the remote angle indicators?  The only other thing I can figure is that the LNB attached to my Wineguard is a...

    Cleaning the Awning

What can I use (household wise) to clean the awning? Is there a safe alternative to the RV specific stuff? What about putting a Scotchguard type protectant and waterproofer on it once it is cleaned?

Turning on refrigerator and using the microwave on the road

What if it is not being powered by prpopane? I assume the same applies because of the ammonia in the coils?  Just curious, I will have to research refrigeration when I get some time.

Turning on refrigerator and using the microwave on the road

Just because I am a newbie...Why does the coach have to be close to level to use the fridge? Is it because of the ice maker?

    Rubber roof qestion..

Thanks for the info. I called a RV place today just to see what a new rubber roof would cost, and they said it would start at  :o :o $4500.00 and go up  :o :o depending on how much wood they had to repalce. I will definately try to get the rubber sealed back down. I will have to search the web...

    Rubber roof qestion..

Thanks for the reply and for the excellent write up on your roof replacement. I looked at the bubbles very closely and it appeared to be the membrane just seperating from the underlayment. I did look very closely at all of the other openings in the roof and all of the caulking appeared to be ok...

    Rubber roof qestion..

Today I was trying out my Wineguard dish antenna, and I was having problem getting the proper elevation. I noticed the elevator arm was broken which is another issue, but while I was up on the roof I noticed a couple of small bubbles. These look to be air bubbles and one is approximateltely 3"...

Can you ID these outside clips?

Those basement door latches are great.. ;D I just tried them out, had it been a snake, it would have bitten me.  Sometimes I think about things way too much and fail to see the simple solution right in front of me...Thanks again.

Can you ID these outside clips?

Thanks for your quick replies... I could not get the image files to load on this forum so I changed them  to direct links. Gonna go figure that out right now as I am a RV newbie and I am full of questions... ??? ??? I will also go try the clips out. I don't have anything for them to latch to on...
