Thanks Rich Although it would be nice to have a new generator it's too much for us at this point and if it's going to be tricky that's another reason to skip it. I think we will end up fixing the current one and hoping with taking care of it that it last a long time.

Great info! Thanks, I will have a read. The biggest expense here is the labor and we had a trip planned in the next week so we may not have the luxury or waiting for a rebuild and plus the Onan guys already have our RV and generator out and taken apart waiting for my decision.

Got it. Did a lot of testing and found the problem to be the slider switch/board on the wall thermostat. Looking for a replacement now or will just live with the low speed AC fan. Thanks
