    Different types of "Campers"

Mostly just curious.  We typically have some kids, teenagers and on occasion a grandkid so outside we are.  I enjoy sitting around outside and people watching, reading, playing cards or relaxing.  Will have to see as times goes by what the future brings.

    Different types of "Campers"

Getting ready to head out for our yearly week long Lake Tahoe trip and I got to thinking about people and what they consider to be camping.  Mind you this is nothing against how someone spends their time but more of an inquiry.  We stay in a large campground with varying types of campers, tents...

Time to update the center console

Thank you.  Even though I had drawn it up there was some trial and error.  Cut several pieces a few times and made changes as I went along.  Next time purchase hinges first.  ::)  Good part was I bought some new toys to add for my collection.  Router bits, new nail gun.  Noted on the photos.

Time to update the center console

Was tired of the old center console/cupholder/storage tray on the doghouse so I decided to make a new more modern one.  Made from red oak with a natural stain and satin clear.  Used cupholders that match the standard type found in most MH and trailers.  By the way they are not a standard hole...

    In-tank fuel pumps

My fiancee had a 2000 Blazer and it has the in tank fuel pump and she has had to have it replaced or repaired for faulty wiring several times.  Why do they design something you average DIY can't easily repair?  The answer, they want you to bring into the dealer for service.  They could easily...

    Cobweb Control inside and out

Anyone know what works best for cobweb control?  Other than cleaning weekly or biweekly.  We park on gravel in my neighbors side yard and the cobwebs are just terrible.  Luckily the cats walk underneath and take some with them upon leaving.  For the inside it is like a weekly chore to keep them...

    Checking power on wires

This is more for 12v DC.  Tracing an electrical issue on the MH.  I am very cautious when working around 120v.

    Checking power on wires

Done that in the past.  Was just curious if there might be something else available.

    Checking power on wires

Always have been handy and can usually work it out if a problem.  My dad always told me "there is never a stupid question". So here it goes!  If you need to check the voltage on a wire where there is no way to access either end for the tester, how do you check the voltage without cutting or...

Was underneath looking at the jack and it is indeed HWH.  I cleaned the grime off and set a piece of cardboard underneath to so if I can determine where it is leaking.

    Hydraulic Leveler Repair and Bleeding

There are springs.  I will fix the leak and try them several times.  The jack has a tendency not to lift all the way and makes the coach not sit level.  I have the procedure on how to adjust the leveling and will do that once the leak is repaired.  Thanks, Kurt

    Hydraulic Leveler Repair and Bleeding

One of our rear HWH jacks has a small leak and I was wanting to know once you change the hose do you need to bleed the lines?  If so, how?  Bleeding brakes and clutches you have a pedal to pump so I am not sure how this would be accomplished and I could not find much information.  I did find a...

    Step Rugs/Mats

Looking for new step rugs/mats for the MH.  The existing are of an indoor/outdoor carpet material and seemed to be of good quality.  Purchased some Prest-o-Fit covers that were more of an AstroTurf material and not what we were looking for.  Looking for recommendations so any help would be...
