Over the air TV channel scan?

7 minutes wow almost a lifetime. As you arrive before setting up start your TV scanning and by the time you are done your TV will be ready to watch. I watch about 1 hour per day watching the morning news. TV watching during the day or night is during bad weather only.

    Just ranting: Disrespectful!

I find the same thing when filling up with diesel. Most convenience  stores have one designated island for diesel and they are usually filled with gas vehicles as the pumps supply both fuels. It only bothers me when they see me patiently waiting and they go in and get a snack or whatever when...

Makin a list; checking it twice... going to get what I want and only what I want

Easy enough to hook up a tee at either end, either the service end or at the trailer inlet. I see people with it most commonly at the CG outlet and then they use it for flushing their black tanks without the trouble of unhooking and switching back and forth and for rinsing items.

Is about 500 miles doable in a day?

I usually allow an hour more than my waze app states. 10 hour trip = 11 hours and that almost works perfectly. Waze is my new best friend.

Makin a list; checking it twice... going to get what I want and only what I want

One thing I wish I had would be more windows on the door side and less windows on service side watching the neighbors all day and night or keeping blinds drawn. Also as far as the outside kitchen we love ours and have never cooked inside. I too have a 3 burner propane stove from Costco with legs...

Black tank almost fell out on the highway

Well yesterday I was finally able to assess the dropped black tank issue. It definitely came off of the 2 1" angle iron bars that are supposed to hold it in place, no support straps attached which is a dumb design. After jacking the tank up and holding to support I removed the detachable angle...

Black tank almost fell out on the highway

I too believe that is what happened to me but never run full. A couple of years back I did overflow the tank as I got distracted by a passerby and forgot had had the back flush on until I heard screams coming from inside the camper.

Is about 500 miles doable in a day?

I agree 100% with the seasonal campers, usually snobby to people passing through and riding around on their fancy golf carts all day and night. Just came from Mountain Stream CG outside of Marion NC and the place did not allow seasonal and the folks there were all friendlier than any CG I have...

Black tank almost fell out on the highway

No straps to hold the tank on only 1" angle iron. One side welded one side bolted. Seems it just sits on the angle iron and I can't figure how it came off it's mooring's.

Is about 500 miles doable in a day?

I just drove to Marion NC from PA 597 miles. Heading there I left on Friday evening and stopped for the night at the Walmart in Winchester VA so the ride would be manageable on Saturday, about 7 hours. Different story coming home as I drove straight through leaving around 7:30 am and with fuel...

Black tank almost fell out on the highway

Recently camping last week in NC my neighbor noticed that my underbelly was sagging quite badly. Not being able to see what was going on I decided to wait until I got home some 600 miles away. While traveling north on Route 81 a passerby started letting me know something was going on under the...

    Stay Alert Out There

My theory is if it is my A** or yours you can kiss yours goodbye unless it is my fault then I do whatever possible to minimize any damage. Like Phil said " He would have pushed her sideways on the roof" if need be to protect himself and family. Joe
