Roof Air keeps tripping the circuit breaker

Always seems 90% of the time, it's something simple.

    6.8 Liter V10 Life Expectancy

I retired as a Six Sigma Blackbelt. I would have complete confidence in their recommendations. SixSigma processes identify the problem, implement logical, data based solutions and follow through to make sure, corrections have been positive. All departments responsible for each particular...

What made you decide to retire early?

After 40 years at the same manufacturing company, I retired at 59. Started as foundry laborer and ended as Project engineer. Burned out, health issues and personal life issues and I wanted out. First two years, traveled the lower 48. Came out to Oregon, from Wisconsin to visit friends and...

    Bark collar?

I have a yapper and I found the collar that gives an audible beep, then escalates to a vibration works best. I work part time and would get asked to leave, if he was a nuisance. They don't mind if you leave them, only that they don't cause a disturbance. Many times, I don't even put a battery...

First time towing with an F150 & equalizer hitch questions

When I pulled my travel trailer, the load looked good, but I noticed going up small, wet inclines, my rear tires started spinning. Not enough transferred tongue weight. Dropped it down a bit and I was good.

If you had to do over again on your first motor home

I must be one of the lucky ones. Thanks to the PO upgrading and installing perks, I'm pretty much happy with mine. Had it 6 years and unless I hit the lottery, I'm good.

loud noise from hitch when towing tt.

I've used this stuff for years and it quiets everything down. You do NOT want the connection points to be dry. Apply to the ball and the leveler arm pins. http://www.campingworld.com/shopping/item/reese-teflon-ball-lube/9192

Safe to tow without trailer brakes?

No need to pull a wheel off. If you have a wire going into the drum, you have brakes.

    Windshield Repair

I have a 92 Winnebago with a split front windshield. About a month ago, a wind storm rolled through where I keep it stored and a large branch fell on the front. It didn't break any glass, but got under the seal at the top of both windshields. It also broke of the passenger side wiper and scuffed...

    Not so "GOOD" Sam

I had a similar situation, but with different results. I have been a member of the Good Sam Platinum service for the past 6 years and have used their services, in one extent or the other. Out in the middle of nowhere in Washington, I blew an inside rear tire, thanks to crossfire system...

Black Tank - Best Product to use

Might have been me. I've been using this mixture for the past five years and it does the trick, especially in hot weather. Economical and keeps it fresh.

    Need a Pep Talk

Some of my fondest memories and greatest stories in my 40+ years of camping, is remembering the people and experiences I had, while broke down. Just another knotch in the belt.

    Fuel pump location

I have a 92 Winnebago Ford 460. The pump is in the tank. The pump and fuel sending unit are one piece. The unit was $775 plus $225 labor. Mine they had to drop the tank. Some coaches have an access panel, or are located in the floor where it might be possible for them to cut a hole.
