US 101 Oregon Diesel Fuel Stops

I will be traveling in a 45’ diesel pusher flat towing a pickup truck along the Pacific coast from Washington to Northern California on US 101 this fall. I don’t see any Pilot/Flying J, Loves, TA or Petro along that route. For those of you that have traveled that route with a big rig towing -...

    Keeping electric entry steps retracted

I decided that the suggestion of closing the door waiting for the steps to retract then pulling the fuse was the best solution for me. I added this to my departure and setup to-do lists so I don't forget to put it back in. Thanks for all of your replies.

    Keeping electric entry steps retracted

The site we are in for the next couple of months has a set of wooden steps that the site owner said we could use while on his site. I have tried to keep my electric entry steps on my 2014 Allegro Bus in the retracted position so I can use the wooden steps. The electric entry steps will hit and...

FL vs SD, drivers license, auto registration taxes & inspection requirements

You do not have to have the vehicle physically present in Florida to register or renew registration. You can have a police officer from the area you are currently in validate the vin and sign the registration form.

How much do you pay in your state?

A few years ago in North Carolina we paid around $100 for the MH registration and then $2,000 for the personal property tax each year. Since moving to Florida we pay $59 per year.

A question for you full timers

Check out https://www.rverinsurance.com/ as they show a number of different options. Based on their site it looks like the only ACA plan that has nationwide coverage is in Florida.

M&G owners - replacement spark plug boot

I had no luck with auto parts stores when I had first installed my M&G brake. I went to an Outdoor Power Equipment sales & service location that had at least 5 different size spark plug boots they sell without the spark plug wire attached.

    Water Pump Controller Location

I was able to find it attached to the ceiling in the water/sewer compartment. Based on the model it looks like I will need to replace it with the Intellitec 10amp model.
