This will be the first time that I leave the motorhome on the lot in Florida. What is the consensus on turning my coach and chassis batteries off.
I will be on shore power for the 6 months I'm gone and don't know it the batteries should be left on or off.
Any input would be greatly appreciated...
I have a 2004 Holiday Rambler Endeavor and just noticed that the front cover for the generator was out of alignment so I attempted to tighten the screws that hold the cover on.
I discovered that under the fiberglass they had used wood and the wood was rotten.
I only have one solid screw and the...
I have towed both a 2002 and a 2013 Mazda Miata 4 down with no problems. Both were standard transmission with the first being a 5 speed and the last being a 6.

I spent a winter here about 6 years ago. Well run park with gated security, great WiFi, cable, laundry and propane. It's very shaded and has a boat launch.

I've had the Ready Brute for the last 8 years with 2 motorhomes and 4 vehicles(2002 Miata, 2010 Honda Fit, 2013 Miata and my Dodge). I just put the new cable on my 2015 Dodge Ram with no problems whatsoever. I like the simplicity of the set up and would buy another one.
I too have a HR Endeavor 40PDQ with the 4 slides. It spends its winters in Florida and summers in Pa. I love the room and the ease of setting up and tearing down.
For what I do it ideal.

I don't have a fiver but my friend has a Jayco 32' and somehow a cat got into the substructure and is between the floor and the lower part of the 5er.
Does anyone have any idea how to get the cat out and where the cat might have entered?
The 5er's bay doors were all closed at the time.
Thanks, Mike
I guess I don't understand the idea of driving 60 mph. You will be driving on a 70 mph highway and that's how fast I drive in my coach.
I have no problem driving from my home in Pa. and making 400 miles in a day and still getting off the road before dark. (with dogs)
If your holding tanks are...
Well stupid me wired the controller wrong. When I looked at the old one I had the wires mixed up so after rewiring it I now have a working unit.
Thanks for all the help guys.
The above unit provides A/C power to my hot water tank. It's turned on via the 12v switch on my control panel
The unit burned out and I understand that they no longer make it.
Does anyone know where I can find one.
Thanks, Mike
I towed my 2010 Fit Sport to both Tx. and Fl. and used a 4" drop which leveled the tow bar. My coach is a DP which may be higher than yours.
The only time I had battery problems was when I failed to start the car for the 4 day trip to Tx.

In my area it's not a question of price but of availability. Verizon is the only player so they charge what they want and we have no recourse.
What happened to the idea of competition and the ability of the consumer to go with the best deal?
Gary calls it capitalism and I call it greed.
