If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
no need to change the wires. The bulbs go in either way. Just remove the bulb and turn to the opposite polarity. In your efforts you may have blown the fuse.
I drive a pick up truck with a fifth wheel so this is simple for me. But,
I have an additional battery in the bed of my truck. it has a 7 pin connector that plugs into the in-bed fifth wheel connector when not towing. I just plug it in there normally, even when at home and it keeps...
On some motor homes there is a valve associated with the gas alarm. You did not mention if the other gas appliances are working????? If they are working ignore this post!
I don"t get to this forum often so good luck.
Channel 9 on CB is special. If everyone doesn't use it for anything no one is monitoring it. I suggest we all monitor 9 as usual practice. If traveling with a group (RVing) maybe use 13. But there are only a few who would complain if you called your friend on 9, then went to another channel...
I have an 03 Ford F-250 with the 7.3 diesel. It has the overdrive trans. (not the tow-haul). I drive in the mountains many miles every year and have had no problems with an engine brake. Many I speak with wish they had one, and some love the ones they have, but mine is fine the way it is. ...
I have been RVing for many years. I have always wanted a generator but never bought one. We are facing a trip from CA to FL and back, planning about 4 months on the road. I am still not buying one. I have one battery in my fifth wheel and am going to keep one in the back of my pickup plugged...
It does sound like a GFCI issue. BUT when you check the breakers, not the fuses, make certain you push them into the off position with a little force. If the breaker tripped you may need the force to reset it when you turn it back on.
The A/C is really taxing the 15A circuit. Be certain the cord feeding the trailer is only the 30A and that you don't add an extension. Low voltage on startup may occur and that could shorten the life of your A/C unit.
I suggest you get a friend, one comfortable with electricity and is an experienced RV'r. This is all very simple to those of us that know both fields, RV and electrical. But we also understand that others are not there. We don't do brain surgery or test blood in a laboratory, in other words...
We are currently looking for a camp host at our Lyons Reservoir location. Lyons Reservoir is located on Hwy 108 in California's beautiful Sonora Pass. The host duties consist of opening a gate at dawn and closing the gate a dusk, ensuring all visitors have left the area before the gate is...
This is really fun! Digital signals over the air are better than cable (or satellite) signals unless you are purchasing HD service. That is because the cable companies are de-grading the signal unless you buy the HD. Over the air the signals are great.
Antennas are unique. I was raised...
We still have two camp hosting positions available for the 2015 season. One is in the Shasta area near Burney, CA and the other at Bucks Lake out of Quincy, CA. Each pays CA minimum wage of $9.00 hr. 30-40 hours week. The number of hours vary based on the immediate needs in the campground. ...
I use windows 7 and an included program is "Snipit". It works great. You put a box around what you want and then save the box! Shift "prt sc" on the top row above backspace works great also.
