    Why a Tablet?

Couple reasons I like the tablet, almost instant start up time and close to 10 hours battery life and I can relax on the couch with it. We still have a big laptop and IMac but the Ipad gets a ton of use, especially while in route.

    Las Vegas went crazy!

Arizona Charlies on the Boulder Highway advertizes weekly 150 for back ins and 180 for pull thru. They have a nice little casino and restaurant there too. We stayed at the Thousand Trails because we are members but walked down there and it looks nice.

Fire Wave - Valley of Fire State Park

Thanks, it is a really nice State Park. You don't have to hike 10 miles to see cool stuff, most is right beside the road.

http://www.roadsideamerica.com/ Great website for finding the weird things to see. Also finding and following the old route 66 is fun.  :)

You can't go wrong visiting National Parks and Monuments, many state parks are also great. Was in the Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada today, blew me away the colors and patterns of sandstone.

    Hoover Dam photos

There is a nice path up to the pedestrian walk way across the bridge, great views of the dam.
