    We leave ours out all the time, unless the winds are high. we have the auto dump feature, the first time it auto-dumped, scared the heck out of us. we now always set it to angle down at night.

    What he said. If you have a fifth wheel or any trailer for that matter, you should be able to handle all aspects of driving it. We spent two afternoons practicing on an empty gravel lot. Only when we felt comfortable of all aspects of driving a fifth wheel did we impose ourselves onto the public.

    I store mine on the dinette seat of my TC. I am sure the stock controller is just fine, just my OCD getting the best of me. I do not use it with my fifth wheel, as I have a permanent roof mounted solution for it.

    Stephen. Almost 4 feet long is right, like I said huge. As for the controller, only a tiny light to tell you its working. I want to see what's going on. I was also curious about MPPT controllers and when I bought it, it was only $45.

    You can't buy a bad diesel these days. All 3 of the players have pros and cons. Take all 3 for an extended test drive, you will know which one is right just by the way it feels. good luck.
