Thanks John I will try that. It happens on every vent...all 7 so I don't believe it's a roof leak. I just put a new coating on the roof after having a leak around the shower skylight so if it was that it should be resovled....and lots of caulking.

I did what you suggested Lou. Cleaned the electrodes and set the gap ( 1st time too close and it wouldn't ignite ) 2nd time it ignited.....but now it doesn't shut off like before but keeps going on off every couple of seconds. Maybe I'm calling it the wrong name but it' a switch ( similar to a light switch ) next to the breaker panel that's under the fridge. Maybe the previous owner added it for some reason but everything seems to be working now it's turned on. Is there any reason why it should be turned off? Bob
