Has Covid Vaccine Arrived in Your Area Yet?

I am a test dummy for Moderna. We have been told that when Moderna Vaccine gets the ok that we will be told if we got the vaccine or the placebo. Those that got the placebo will be vaccinated right away. I am hoping to know next week as Thursday is the revue.

Also check the oil pressure sending unit. On cars, the sending unit is the first place I look for an oil leak and I have sure found some bad ones.

    National Senior Pass prices rising

I just left the Ulysses S. Grant Nation Park in St. Louis County were I found out the Senior Pass cost is going up August 28th to Eighty Dollars. The fact of the rise in price is not news to me, just the actual date is. I also found out that you can buy multiple passes in case you loose one or...

Noisy Blower on Suburban SH-42 Furnace

The only trick for pulling the heater, at least on my Suburban, was on outside of the chimney there is a screw between the air inlet and the exhaust that holds the furnace to the chimney that must be removed to get the furnace out. When I needed to remove my furnace that screw stumped me for a...

    Generac Troubles Fixed

Further update, the engine speed is not controlled by the engine control board, but is controlled by the governor and must be set up as shown on page 28 and 29 of service manual 94468. This controls the engine speed, thus controls the generator speed, thus controls the Hertz output. If the...

    Generac Troubles Fixed

When I received my new voltage regulator the control pot was set counter clock wise as far is it would go. The hertz was correct as the engine, thus the generator speed was not changed. My meters showed 62 Hertz at no load yet the voltage at the factory setting on the regulator was 89 volts...

    Generac Troubles Fixed

Your correct that the generator speed on all Generacs need to be set at 3600 rpm. This is done by controlling the engine speed. On a NP66 the engine speed needs to be set at 2700 rpm. On a NP52 the engine speed is set to 2300 rpm. On a NP72 the engine speed is set to 2900 rpm. This is still done...

    Generac Troubles Fixed

According to what I read in the service manual, the hertz is set by the engine speed that is controlled by the engine controller circuit board. The voltage regulator controls the voltage out. since I did not mess with the engine controller the hertz was not changed.

    First outing

No app is 100 percent reliable. We us RvParkey and always call before we go to any park. Usually the price is a little higher than RvParkey lists, but we like it because it also will  list the free spots like Walmarts and rest stops. They are pretty accurate as to which Wallmarts allow overnight...

    Generac Troubles Fixed

We have a 1995 Generac np66g in our mh that has needed a few repairs. In hopes of helping others I want to report the two problems and the fixes that I employed to keep this running. The first problem sowed up on our 2015 trip to the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas. In the heat we drove with the...

    AC/DC TV Power Issues

mg194 That happened to me. I found that the problem was I did not turn on the coach power before plugging in the coach. This disconnected the batteries and put too much voltage to the 12 volt system. The batteries are needed to act as  a voltage regulator. Unplug your trailer from the shore...

    water heater replacement

A ten gallon water heater is bigger than a six gallon and needs a bigger hole in the side of the rv plus a new and bigger cover. I just replaced my six gallon water heater and opted to stay with the six gallon due to size limitations. The replacement was fairly easy to do.

    Seat belt removal Captains chairs.

Gary, If you ever have a problem with real rust, the best penetrating oil is a mix of automatic transmission oil and acetone. After working on Model T's I have found nothing works better. Glad to see you got the bolts off though. Steven

    Rexhall Rose Air

Rexhall was a small but innovative rv builder that had no dealers. One had to buy direct from the factory. I think the Rose Air  was the top of the line but I am not positive of this. I own a 96 Aerbus and love it and will be looking for a newer Rexhall in the future. Rexhall is not building any...
