    Parking brake chimes when released

There is a wire that attaches to the back side of the park brake. If you can reach underneath and find it, you can push it back on re-connect it. Brent

    Clear coat

No question that my application was not up to snuff for some reason, but obviously neither was Winnebago's as I started to notice the beginning of the problem only 2 years from new. Was hoping that there was another product that had a bit more longevity. Brent

    Clear coat

The clear-coat on our 2013 Journey is peeling fairly significantly in the same area. I wet-sanded and applied new clear-coat, but much of the new clear-coat has oxidized and looks worse than the peeling. I have noticed a few Mohos that have that area painted with a very sparkly type of...

    Lincoln MKX on the list

We tow a 2011 Ford Edge Limited and have for just over 20 000 miles. It has just started to shift hard from 3rd to 4th gear and is headed to the transmission shop on Thursday. I had not heard of a tsb for the escape regarding lowering the fluid level. Can you please direct me on how to view...

    Atwood water heater morse code

I originally thought that it must be the element, but when it goes away when I replace a thermostat or relay, I'm not so sure. I remember the post about the pressure relief valve, and if memory serves, someone had said that their circuit board was to blame. Circuit boards are a bit pricey so I'm...

    Atwood water heater morse code

In my 2013 Journey 42e I have a 10 gallon Atwood water heater that makes a clicking sound when it is heating in electric mode. When I have changed the thermostat, the clicking stops for a few weeks but eventually comes back. This has occurred with both the standard and adjustable thermostats...

    Sedona, AZ to Kingman, AZ.

We will be taking our 44' Class A with a toad from Sedona to Kingman next week. Considering taking either the I-17 & I-40 route or the I-17 , AZ 169, AZ 89a, AZ 89, I-40 route through Prescott Valley and Ash Fork. The latter route is slightly longer,  but I think it might avoid the long climb up...

    Generator auto start problem

So the DW tells me we don't have hot water. After some investigation I find that two wires have rubbed through and tripped the breaker. After repairing the wires and resetting the breaker I think hmmmm....I tried the auto start function on the generator and all is good again. Not sure what one...

    Generator auto start problem

After talking with Winnebago they figure that the transformer on the 110V panel is faulty. The transformer is supposed to signal the auto gen system that it has enough power so don't start up. I checked the connections for tightness and all were good so trying to order one. In Las Vegas now and...

    Generator auto start problem

To add some info to this, the generator doesn't start on its own until an air conditioner starts up. With very little load everything is normal but when an ac kicks in, the generator starts even though we have good shore power. Brent

    Generator auto start problem

Today when I set the generator on our coach to auto start,  it started on its own even though we had good shore power. I've tried it a few times and each time the generator starts almost immediately after setting the auto start function to on. Any ideas would be appreciated. Brent

Lippert Leveling Jacks make "popping sound"

I did the procedure recently and don't think it helped. I have also sprayed the jacks with silicone which I felt was somewhat effective. The most effective thing I have found is to get the coach as level as possible with boards under the tires and then operate the jacks in manual mode so that...
