Dead battery on towed Honda CRV , solutions?

I soldered a blown fuse with no problem, added a switch with an inline fuse. Works like a charm. Battery still goes dead after 5 days of towing keeping the ignition switch turned on continuously. I run it daily to circulate transmission fluids which does help the battery, but 5 days seems to be...

    New England RV adventure

In PA, stop by the Strasburg Railroad in Lancaster County for that steam engine train ride. You'll see lots of Amish buggies there also. Might try Mill Stream campground, Lancaster, PA. Head north thru Hershey (Chocolate) to route 81 then 84 to New England states to bypass NYC.

    New England RV adventure

On a recent trip to MA and RI, we stayed at Normandy Farms campground. From there you can easily travel to Newport and Boston. Your teenagers will like the facilities.

    Lay Off Leopard, for now...

Hey, rhmahoney, I understand your methodology there, bit it seems like you are operating far ahead of my capabilities. I think I will simply wait until some of the software folks have their Leopard updates finished, and then upgrade.

    Lay Off Leopard, for now...

Anyone using Filemaker Pro definitely should not upgrade to the new Leopard OS until Filemaker (owned by Apple) releases a fix. They are planning to update version 9 on or around the 19th of Nov., but very possibly not earlier versions of the database software.

its not supposed to be this way......

Dave, it's difficult for any of us when illness or death takes folks from our friendship circles. It's even more difficult when it occurs within our own families. Sure, the natural progression is for the old to died first, and when it's a younger person, we bury not so much the past life lived...

    Where to stay in Pa

As long as you are in the front section, the train noise is not a problem. Many of the spaces in the back and the higher tent areas are closer to the tracks. Ask for spaces 211 through 237. Hershey park will be closed soon for the winter months. If you are traveling down I-81 or I-78, exit I-81...

New Class C Purchase - Fleetwood Jamboree 31W

Welcome to the RV Forum. There are some big differences between the Jamboree and the Jamboree GT. May be good to compare, especially the outside storage compartments. The 30U floorplan is one of their better layouts, and the cabover entertainment option would be a good addition if you don't need...

    Internet Traffic Report - Worldwide

Mike, you may be missing the difference between Mbit/s and kbit/s (MegaBits and Kilobits) rather than the difference between a period and a comma. There are a 1000 Kilobits in 1 Megabit. The progression is - bit, kilobit, megabit, gigabit, terabit, petabit, exabit, zettabit, and yottabit (bit...

    Internet Traffic Report - Worldwide

Thanks, Carson, for posting the Bandwidth Tester site. That was helpful, and I will be testing my speeds at different locations and at different times of the day. I notice at campgrounds with WiFi that the speeds seem to slow quite a bit during the evening hours when many folks are online. This...

Things to keep in the motor home?

My wife accuses me of always taking too many tools along. I figure if I don't need some of them, maybe a neighbor will need my help with the ones I haven't used yet to that point in time.  ;D
