that is very interesting and all new information to me. The shop that balanced the wheels for me also balances semis and other trucks and the place was full off ALCOA wheels. Is it just the wheels for the Sprinter that this principle applies to or all ALCOA wheels?

It's on right. I saw the wobble on the spin up with an indicator. About 1/4 inch
