    Do you cover your rv?

Thank you for your feedback!!! I love you guys! So, we're going to pour a slab, but there's no real place to put any kind of a cover/awning (it's in the sideyard). Is it ok, then, just to take REALLY good care of the top and seams and leave Maynard uncovered (I live in Colorado)?

    Do you cover your rv?

Greetings and salutations, fellow rv lovies! I have a question about rv covers (I did a search before asking and didn't really find anything). Do you guys cover your rvs for protection? Is it worth it? What covers are the best? Do you get what you pay for, or are the Wal-Mart covers really as...

Have you installed a gear vendors overdrive transmission unit on your rig?

Thanks so much!!! You guys don't know how much your help means. I can personally attest that I was chewing dashboard through the Cascades and the Rockies. I almost threw up two or three times in Utah and Colorado, once in the Cascades. And once on a spooky looking bridge they actually allow...

Have you installed a gear vendors overdrive transmission unit on your rig?

Welllll! We just took our rig over the Rockies and the Cascades...TWICE! We love her, but by golly, she's a gutless wonder.  :o Hubby wants to install a gear vendors overdrive transmission. I wanted to know if any of you guys have either installed one or has one and what you think of it. I...

    Your Opinion on RV(s)

I want to definitely chime in and say PLEASE for the love of all that is good and chocolatey in the world, have someone inspect the RV pre-buying. Our last RV was a nightmare wrapped up in a water damage cover and wrapped in chewy stress nougat. It's amazing the education we received on that...

We've always used craigslist and have had good luck. Good luck to you selling your rig, and take good pictures! People want pictures.  :D

Is it unlawful or just unsafe?

I agree that it would be bad to assume that just because I have a green and someone else has a red to assume they're going to stop. I don't even do that in my regular vehicle where people tend to drive nicely! And when my kids are in locations where there are lights in the rv, you can bet your...

Is it unlawful or just unsafe?

I agree that it is important to take responsibility for one's actions and could never suggest otherwise. I am not sure where litigiousness came into the discussion, but I believe we can agree to disagree regarding the general issue and continue to get along famously. :)

Is it safe to sleep at shopping malls etc or should I always choose rv camp site

You don't eat at McDonalds. You buy a beverage and you sit while the kids play. Even their salads are McCrappy. ;D

    travel trailer and northeast texas

It's true, the weather in March and April is affable, but it's still humid. Of course, being from Florida it'll just feel like a warm hug from the atmosphere. The bugs during those months aren't a big deal, but from May-October they are, and especially the fire ants. I had one bite me while I...

    Hello!

I appreciate all the help I've been given, and appreciate how kind and civil and friendly everyone is.  It's like family, minus the in-laws.  ;D Thanks so much, Ron!

    Propane generators?

Thanks so much! I told my hubby. We're going to look at other options. I really like the looks of those Honda generators, but am spoiled by the Onan and it's convenience. I'm checking into the Genturi, too.

Is it unlawful or just unsafe?

I see your points and agree that there are definitely more numpties on the road now than there used to be. Our kids are always buckled in times of weather turbulence, through rough traffic areas, and always through towns when there is stop and go traffic (or any other time we have any...

    Propane generators?

Thank you, John! Those are excellent points. I hadn't considered that, either.
