Me too... I tow a 30 ft TT just shy of 10k with a 2500 gmc denali cc 6.6 turbo diesel 4x4  and it's like its not there.  Of course, I am towing about 6k less than what I am rated to tow and I think that makes all the difference.  I only experience sway in heavy winds but I don't have sway bars...

Thank you everyone for all the information.  My neice tells me that there is a park a few blocks away that she sees RV parked along the main road all the time.  She thinks I should park there.  Not too sure about that, I like to have a plan  :)

That was a very entertaining post!  Especially since I have felt that very same thing many many times in my life!  Here is my advice:  Fear nothing.    Living in fear and the RV lifestyle don't mesh.  When in doubt, go slow! Enjoy your freedom!!
