Now that I am old, 75, I have to admit when I was young and worked 5 days a week and most stores closed at 5pm and only open on Friday nights and Saturday. Closed on Sunday. it was pretty inconvenient for me to do much shopping. I kind of liked it when stores started staying open on Sunday and...
You can't drive a compact car 2/3 of your life then jump in a 40 ft MH towing a toad and expect to be a expert driver over night. You will only learn with practice. Get the rig and tow vehicle and practice. It will come with practice.
If you are a GS member you can get that tailgater system from CW for $450. If you aren't GS member just go to Amazon and get it for $415.50. Same system. ;D
Except if the alarm is always going off you will tend to ignore it. What happens if it all of a sudden isn't a gauge problem but a real problem occuring? Especially on a wet hwy at 65 mph. I would get the problem repaired. JMHO
Wyoming doesn't require toad brakes but it is good to have them anyway. Plus I need them if I enter a state that requires them. There are many brands on the market. I use the Blue Ox Patriot. I can set the sensitivity in my MH. I do run a charge line to my toad battery through a diode.
Whoa nellie. Never owned a MH before? Hopefully you owned some sort of RV before. Jumping into high dollar MH and never owned a RV before then admitting you are inexperienced in that area is a little scary.
Had the same problem. I went into a Walmart and bought a cheap plastic box and all the fuses I needed to fill it including 25 amp. I now carry 5 of each size. Some Walmarts may not carry all sizes. Most of the truck stops carry many fuse sizes.
We always run the furness going diwn the road. We also have an indoor outdoor thermometer. We velcrow the outdoor sensor in the wet bay and watch it closely in cold weather. Never has been a problem until the temp gets down towards zero. I do think it is a good idea to monitor the the temp in...
You should have a thumper. Almost every truck stop sells them. I check at every rest stop when traveling. The tire? I guess it depends where you live. I am in a farm community. Tire dealer comes out all the time to change tractor tires. They replace huge tires in the field. No problem. I would...
Difficult for me to pay cash for a vehicle when I got a 4.2% loan, get a tax break and collecting 6% dividends on my AT&T stock + going up in value.. If that money was sitting in a CD that would be different. Actually paying cash usually only works for non investors.
Just seems like if I wasn't using all the the things thst came with my RV why would I haul them around. If I wanted to rough it I could carry a tent in my trunk. If I was concerned about my prooane furnace being safe I would have it bench tested and checked for safety.
