Next week it looks like I'll be in working in Indio on Thursday, then I'll be off Friday and Saturday before returning to L.A. Sunday morning.

I won't have my motorhome, but I am planning to come to the Rally on at least one daily pass.  Hope I can meet up with y'all!

Lou

We're still at Crystal Cove, leaving tomorrow morning. We may get to the fairgrounds tomorrow afternoon but it may be Tuesday morning.

And so  the  Indio FMCA Western Area Rally begins.  Ten of us had dinner tonight at Spotlight  29 Casino.  Russ stayed in his rig,  sparing us of his  cold.  Jeff  will lead us into the  rally area in Indio at 9 am in the morning. We miss Sue but we like Jeff's friend  Al.  It is the first time in a long time  I have made this step of the rally, having  stayed at "home" for a few extra days prior to rally start. What fun!

We are getting ready to leave tomorrow morning (Monday) and should be at the holding area in early afternoon.

On Tuesday night Wendy & I are going to have another Birthday Dinner at Tony Roma's.
If anyone would like to join us let us know . We have not set a time as of yet.

Well I just saw a first..... A person has erected a dog pen in the parking lot of the Spotlight 29 Casino where we are overnighting on our way to the FMCA Rally.

Well  the  group of  6  rigs caravanned with ease  into the  FMCA rally today.
We are set up in the  Blue lot 1st street. We are right along the  fence on grass/dirt with  Oasis street right behind us.  Lots of space between our rigs.  It will be fine here unless it rains.  This is a very different spot than we have been before.  The fun has begun.

Terry,

There were two RVs with dog pens setup last night at Spotlight 29 casino.
More RVs at the Casino than I have ever seen before.

You're not in Orange ? Wow, that's different. Where did the handicapped end up ? Grass would be nice  We'll pray for fair weather so you don't get stuck !

Parking lots are not the place for dog pens but some dog owners think they're special and give us all a bad name.

We have arrived at the FMCA Rally in Indio. We are parked with Bernie and Marllene  just East of the entrance to registration on the grass with a very nice place to hold Happy hour. Also in front of building #2 junior exhibits.
