G rated tires versus E

Instead of going to heavier rating tires why not just commercial tires and be done with it. Our Teton came with Goodyear Marathons. Pure junk. Installed Michelin XPS Rib tires and been trouble free.
 
Some are just not comfortable with a misapplication.

It's not clear what  "commercial tire" means in this context.  Goodyear Marathons are an ST (Special Trailer) type tire but not known for longevity & reliability, whereas the Michelin XPS Rib is an LT type with an outstanding reputation for reliability.  Since the two brands/models are a different tire type, it's not an apples-to-apples comparison.  Any LT tire will have to be a larger size or higher load rating & psi than the ST it replaces.
