The RVForum Solar Eclipse Thread

We were planning on coming out to see it but we need a new roof on our home so it's unlikely we can have it completed and other things organised in time.

I was checking the cloud info and it seems highly likely that unless near the Mexican border, it could be cloudy. That is another factor that made us rethink.
 
I am going to be right on that blue line in southern Texas about 60 miles from Mexico. I figure that is the place with the lowest chance of clouds.
This is my theory also, I have reservations at a place a mile or so north of Garner State Park
 
We going to North Little Rock. MIL has 50amp and water and a long "to do" list. LOL
As I always say to DW and MIL weather permitting :)
 
Just a FYI. Sulphur Springs Tx is going all out to attract viewers to come there. That town on I30 is on the centerline of the eclipse path. Lots of RV parks in that area
