After considerable effort, many miles on the Aerbus, what seemed like hundreds of signs warning of moose on the highways from Nova Scotia to the Northern reaches of the lower 48, we finally found her. She's alive and doing well in Glacier National Park. While walking to a water falls in the Many Glaciers area another hiker said a moose was in the water about 50 feet off the trail. (who knew there were more than two entrances to Glacier?) A young, maybe two year old, female enjoying some grass or whatever near the shore of Fishcap Lake. Apparently we missed two more. A mother and her baby sighted a few minutes earlier in the same location.
