    RV Parks in Tucson

    We stayed at the Adventure Bound RV Resort, formerly Cactus Country and we were there for a week. We have 2 small kids but there were no other kids there (it was in March). Mainly snowbirds and they had lots of activities for them. Lovely park with great social activities such as the free BBQ...

    Even my two young kids know to never walk through someone else's campsite. Some of the 'weekend vacationeers' do it.

    Where and how to find a good used RV from a private owner?

    It took us 3 weeks to find ours and we drove all over Texas looking. We found ours on Craigslist and couldn't be happier.

    Towing a 5th wheel through the mountains?

    We had no problems but you need to be aware of the tunnel height and widths. I don't think theres much difference with a length of 36 or 34 ft as long as you have enough truck to pull it.

    We would stay there and the permanent residents wouldn't worry us. Rattlesnakes, we have been looking for them for 6 months and never seen them. But, we would never eat them! Do people really eat them? We're from Australia and we don't (where we live) eat our snakes. In saying that, I did try...
