I agree with DonTom. My brothers Winnebago has a cable from generator that has to be plugged into power inlet in order to provide power.

I have a 2012 Winnebago 30A with a telescoping table leg to make dinette into bed. Problem is lower section collapses but upper section will not. Do the two sections have to be clocked the same?

Our last motorhome was 38' Tiffin with 340hp Cummins, we got up to 10mpg on long snowbird trips. It's all about weight, Tiffin weighed 24,000 lbs and 2004 Beaver before the Tiffin was 33,000 lbs

I have a Winnebago with same setup. I removed water filter and connected plumbing with appropriate permanent fittings. I then purchased an inline water filter to connect to faucet and hose going to my water inlet. Electric cable and control box are isolated from now water system.

What year is your Phaeton? Earlier generators had vented fuel caps. If not working correctly could cause generator to run for some time before starving.
